Good evening, Resident, I just wanted to issue an update about some of the work I have been undertaking in Central Harbour over the last week or so. On 26/10/26, I attended a property following concerns and through enquiries discovered a large cannabis grow inside. Over the course of two days this was dismantled and the investigation is now with CID.I have been conducting regular foot patrols around the town, liaising with Town Security, councillors and local businesses. This has also included the use of dispersal powers against individuals suspected to be involved in ASB.I have been carrying out welfare checks on vulnerable persons in my ward. One of these checks led to the disclosure of exploitative behaviour and I was able to complete evidence capture and arrest a male on suspicion of a serious offence in order to safeguard the victim.I have attended 15 calls to support my colleagues on Response Teams. I have also held a ward surgery in the town which provided a good opportunity for engagement. I have been taking action on road safety following concerns from residents. Whilst on mobile patrol, I noted a suspicious vehicle which failed to stop when requested and a short pursuit followed. The vehicle was located and seized, and a quantity of drugs were also recovered. In a separate incident, I have also arrested a male on suspicion of drug driving. He has been bailed while the investigation continues. Further road traffic enforcement is planned for the future. Have a good week. Many thanks,
Ryan
